Coates Aircraft Company Fly Reel

This a fly reel from the Coates Aircraft Company of British Columbia, Canada. It is believed to have been produced in the 40's. I don't believe there is any relation to the Coates Company of New York. These reels were made in limited quantities and only in a few models. A truly spectacular Canadian reel.
