BCMC Montreal

BCMC
Montreal, Quebec

There is very little known about this company at this time, or what the connection is with Montreal and Japan.  It is suspected that the Sure Strike lures were manufactured in Japan and exported to Montreal where they were sold throughout the province.  A collector by the name of Joe Van't Hof has been collecting and working diligently on the company history, and it is hoped that he will be able to shed light for us all soon on this elusive bait manufacturer.  The company made some fantastic lures with solid paint finishes and great hardware, but it is also apparent that most of these lures were simply copies of other lures from well-established North American lure companies.

3 Wooden Sure Strike Lures from BCMC

3 Different examples of Sure Strike lures in their original boxes.  The top lure is a clear pikie copy, with a flatfish copy to the left and a strange little lure at the bottom.
