Canadian Bait Manufacturing Company - Royal Brand Again, I won't give away too much information at this time, but a man by the name of A.J.Bukoske was Manitoba's earliest producer of reels, wooden baits and metal lures. The lures were produced from 334 Smith Street in Winnipeg,Manitoba in the early 20's and 30's. They produced a wide array of metal tackle and a more specialized line of wooden baits as shown below (These are only 3 versions of his fine line of tackle).
