     According to Terry Venable's information, Rex Field established the Perfect Action Fishing Tackle company in the early 40's, and produced a line of wooden salmon plugs and a lure called the Buzz Bomb.  It would appear the company ceased operation of their wooden plugs in the 50's, but continued to manufacture plastic plugs into the 60's.
