Very little is known about Emmons industries other than the great array of metal spoons, spinners and unique "Sure Catch" lure they designed. As these lures don't show up on a regular basis, and by the look of the lure and card graphics, it can be assumed that this company may have operated in the 50's and 60's, and probably did not have huge commercial success.

Original Carded Emmons Spinner Bait

One of a few carded lures from my collection. The spinner and spoon combination on this lure is definitely of a high quality and makes me wonder what their full product line consisted of.

Carded Sure Catch Lure from Emmons'

The Sure Catch lure from Emmons' which surely has to be unique to the company. It makes me wonder if they ever claimed a patent on this particular metal bait.
