Luminous Art Products Lakefield, Ontario Yet another elusive Canadian company, Luminous Art Products created the "Atomlite" as shown in the pictures to the right. The lures all came in the basic red and white and were made in a tenite body (top picture..2 different sizes), and a wooden body (bottom picture). The hardware on the 2 lures differs as shown: The plastic version had raised bulbous eyes, and the wooden version had tiny tack eyes with crimped treble hooks. Both lures were painted in a luminous white finish that would glow in dark water. I'm not sure that these were very successful lures and I can only assume they had a fairly short run on the market. There is definitely a connection with Hex baits out of Brockville as the boxes are identical in shape, colour and font style. It is believed that Hex baits may have manufactured the bodies of these lures and there may have been a plausible exchange on business between the companies. | Luminous Art Products Atomlite Lures
