Hex Baits

Hex Baits
Brockville, Ontario

There is a vast body of research and information from this company that was started by Hector Maclean in 1937. In his book, "HEX: A History & Collector's Guide to Hex Baits Limited," Jim Willis shares the story of a Canadian company that started out small and ended up becoming one of the leading artificial lure manufacturers in Canada. If you are interested in the full story (Definitely worth the extensive read), you can purchase the publication from The Upper Canadian Publishers, or off the internet from Ebay. I couldn't possibly do justice to the rich history of this influential Canadian company, so I will leave it with you to explore further if interested.
